Clause 2.0 - Ball
2.1 Playing ball will be undertaken daily.
2.2 Ball play must occur at the designated time.
2.3 The rules of play must be observed at all times.
RULES OF PLAY
The ball in play must remain in play and cannot be switched out for another ball for any reason including but not limited to:
- excessive slobber
- excessive dirt
- ball in play is difficult to retrieve
- ball in play has split or deteriorated
- thievery of ball by hooligans
Half time may be observed at the discretion of the fielder.
Time out may be called for aeroplane chasing.
Ball intercepts by other players (aka hooligan thievery) will result with excessive shouting (aka barking).
2.4 Failure to promptly be on site for start of play will be met with excessive and aggressive 'passive' reminders in the form of
- shoving snout into face
- pawing at limbs
- turning around and leaning heavily into human
Should 'passive' reminders remain unresponded to shouting may then be employed to motivate humans accordingly.
2.5 Acceptable reasons for game not proceeding are as follows:
- extreme weather such as heavy rain
- temperatures that exceed 42 C
- temperatures less then 5 C
Light rain is not an acceptable excuse for cancelling play
2.6 Under no circumstances can play be deferred due to other physical activity such as a walk or day trip.
