Old Fashioned Goodness

For those with a lactose intolerance there was rejoicing when lactose free milk became available in Australian supermarkets, even if it was only available in UHT.

Shopping is difficult enough without having to get multiple milk types so when one family member has an intolerance it's easier to buy only lactose free milk.

I remember real milk from my childhood where milk had cream on top.

Do you remember that indulgent bit of cream at the top of the milk bottle?

How To Manage Digital Photos For Blogging Life

How To Manage Digital Photos For Blogging

Nearly all of the images on Purfylle are my own (not all, but most) and so it's up to me to keep them safely stored.

As a blogger I have new images to manage almost every day.

If you're a bit haphazard in your filing habits, the way I am, managing all those photos can be a bit of a nightmare.

Winter Walks

We've had a cold wet weekend. This means everyone is feeling a little cooped up and we just had to get out this afternoon.

How to Participate in a Linky Party

When I first started blogging I had never even heard of a linky party and when I first stumbled across them I wondered how anyone had enough time to add that many links to their blog.

Little did I know it was a super fun awesome party where bloggers get together for what is - when you get down to it - a big blogger 'show and tell' event.

Anyway, if you're reading this I'm assuming you have a vague idea of what a party is. If it's a mystery to you leave me a comment or send me an email and I'll do my best to shed some light on them.

Here I'm going to try to explain HOW you link-up to a linky-party.

Don't touch it! Don't even look at it.

Don't touch it! Don't even look at it.

When you've decluttered something it's important not touch it again.

Don't even look at it!

Put it into an opaque container for donating and let it go.

The Side Effects of Decluttering Euphoria

It was a long weekend the weekend before last and we got loads done. Loads!

But the fall out from that left me feeling overwhelmed.

The side effects of decluttering Euphoria can impact your life drastically

Let me explain.

Busy decluttering

To my awesome readers, I would just like to apologise for not getting a post written yesterday.

I am busy decluttering after a massive room switcharoo last weekend.

Tunisian Crochet Sampler

I've turned another UFO into a WIP finally. This one is the same age as the Baby blanket, I know that because it was going to be a part of the baby blanket. The other part however, is still on the UFO list.

I came across some photos from back when I first started the project which has helped me to pin down when that was. I looked at the date and said to myself 'that's not right, I started this project a long time ago and I don't remember taking those photos last year'.
