We went for a walk along a river we don't often go to called the Canning River. It was a hot day and any wildlife were hiding wherever it is they hide to get away from the mid-day sun.
It wasn't looking to be as exciting and beautiful a walk as we had hoped for but the funny thing about looking at the world through a camera lens is that you see things differently from what you see when you're just walking around. Suddenly all the beauty becomes apparent everywhere you look. It takes time with a camera for this little bit of magic to show itself. It takes time for your eyes to develop the right way of seeing. It's worth taking the time. Does your camera change how you see the world?
