Pallet & Crate Stack

 ISO 400 | f 4 | 1/1600
lens 55-250mm

I took this shot from our car as we drove past. Seeing all those pallets and wood crates probably just mean work for the fruit farmer but to me they looked beautiful.

  2. It's strange seeing the trees without leaves as we are still in summer, well they call it summer here! Love this picture and glad you stopped to take it #MySundayPhoto

    1. It's not that common a sight here at any time of year. They look rather naked without their leaves.

  3. I look at that and see DIY projects. Haha! We also drive by factories that have them and I get so jealous wanting more and more.

    1. I see them being thrown out all the time around here. I wish I lived near by so I could give them all to you.

  5. Oh I think they look beautiful too, especially with the greens and browns behind it and the foreground.
I love that you've put the shot details too, always so interesting to see

    1. I used to add the shot details every week and then I started to add multiple images and I stopped. It's nice to go back to a single shot for a MySundayPhoto.

    1. It was actually quite cold and overcast with spats of rain but this was brief moment of sunshine in amongst it all. I think there's a special quality to sunshine on days like that which added to the beauty of the shot.

  7. I would have stopped for a photo too Stella, there's something really aesthetically pleasing and seeing them all stacked together like that. - Tasha

    1. I wonder what it is that draws so many of us to something so basic as some bits of wood nailed together and piled high?

  10. They seem like white canvas to me, a whole life of possibilities... I would have asked for some!

    1. There was no one in sight. But I'm sure the farmer would've had some to be taken away.
