Ruffler Foot Made Sew Easy It's Hands Free!

If you've ever used a ruffler foot you will know you need to guide your fabric carefully.

I've been making a Victorian Gown. That means lots of ruffley goodness. I have about 150 meters of ribbon I'm using on this project most of which I've been pleating using my sewing machines ruffler foot.
Carefully guiding that much yardage through would drive me insane!

I needed a way to make it easy and fast without needing a lot of concentration.

I needed to automate guiding that ribbon through.

It's so easy and simple and effective I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier.

Christmas Cookies!

I Baked Christmas Cookies!

These are my first Christmas cookies ever.

Star and Angel cookies

There were a few casualties but I enjoyed removing the evidence.

ginger bread cookies

I made royal icing for the first time in my life. That is also my first piping attempt too.

christmas tree ginger bread cookies

I prettied things up attempted to disguise just how bad they were with some edible baubles and shimmers.

bags of cookies

I could have put more effort into the bagging and curling ribbon I suppose, but hey, I BAKED!

The Christmas trees and ginger bread men are ginger flavour and the Angels and stars are vanilla.

doggy cookies

I just had to make some for my fur-babies too, they got banana and carrot biscuits topped with pepitas. They enjoyed them so much they didn't want to wait until Christmas to eat them. I told them they can only have one now and the rest on Christmas day.

  1. I hope your cookies were tasty! You should share the recipe, yours and the fur-babies cookies =) Congrats! You're the Shared the Party the most Feature for #2usestuesday ! See you Monday/Tuesday!

    1. Surprisingly the cookies worked out really well and I've had several requests from family and neighbours for the recipe so I will have to get onto it. Thank you so much for the feature, I'll be over later for the first party of the year!
