Wildlife Snuggery Crochet Hanging Basket

Meet Leilani a Possum in the care of Kinjarling Marsupial Rescue.  When this Snuggery was hung in her enclosure Leilani was quick to snuggle up in it and that is how these crochet hanging baskets came to be called a "Snuggery".

Christmas Baubles Back in Action

Christmas Baubles

I've had these large Christmas baubles for years.

They've stayed in storage the whole time because we only have room for a small Christmas tree. I've been pondering what to do with them, should I donate them? Should I glue them into a wreath or a Christmas tree shape or something else altogether?

I rather like their muted tones and vintage feel and I really would like to hang them on a tree someday.

When Crafty Allie asked for some guest bloggers to participate in her 12 Days of Christmas event over on her blog I put my hand up. I figured it was the perfect opportunity to do something with these baubles so I could actually use them to decorate our home this Christmas.

I asked hubby to get the baubles down from storage for me and I found the hot glue gun (which I didn't end up using).

The perfect idea hit me just as I was about to start gluing, an idea that would still allow me to hang these baubles on a tree someday if we ever get a big enough Christmas tree.
