If you've ever used a ruffler foot you will know you need to guide your fabric carefully.
I've been making a Victorian Gown. That means lots of ruffley goodness. I have about 150 meters of ribbon I'm using on this project most of which I've been pleating using my sewing machines ruffler foot.
Carefully guiding that much yardage through would drive me insane!
I needed a way to make it easy and fast without needing a lot of concentration.
I needed to automate guiding that ribbon through.
It's so easy and simple and effective I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier.

It's always great to explore! Your dog is having a great time in these photos. My dog would have been straight in that water, then out shaking all the water all over us.
ReplyDeleteThe water was a bit murky that day and she likes to see the bottom otherwise she would have jumped straight in!
DeleteLooks like plenty of sniffing and poking around going on there.
ReplyDeleteShe's brave enough to go out and have a good investigate but our other dog isn't.
DeleteThat is pretty cool. You do assume Geri is going to end up in the water. #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteWe watched wondering, it was 50/50 but she decided that spot wasn't where she wanted to go swimming that day.
DeleteAw, she didn't jump in - Saari probably would have done!
ReplyDeleteShe pondered it, nearly did - decided it was too far down and she wasn't sure how deep the water is, Geri doesn't like it if she can't see the bottom.
DeleteI was thinking she was going to jump in
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
lol! Such a funny dog. Want to test out the water. ;) #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteThe water is further down then it seems in the shot, she decided to find somewhere shallower to go for her swim.
DeleteWhat a great series of images - your dog is quite the investigator #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteShe's not as agile as she was in her younger years, she wouldv'e gone all the way to the end just a few years ago.
Deleteooh very brave, I think our dog would have fallen off xx
ReplyDeleteShe almost did!
DeleteLooks like a fine day for exploring! You have one curious dog too =) #mysundayphoto
ReplyDeleteShe likes to go up on high things.
DeleteSome good log exploring going on there :)
ReplyDeleteShe had a good sniff and nearly lost her footing turning around.
DeleteSomebody had lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. :)
She did seem very pleased with herself when she got back onto dry land.
DeleteLove his purple harness!
ReplyDeletePurple is the best kind right?
DeleteYour dog is smarter than my kids, who would've been soaked in three seconds!
ReplyDeleteOh she jumped right in! Just not off the log, which was a bit too far away from the water for her.
